I cannot count how many times I have resolved to eating noodles while I was in school. It was one of the fastest meals to prepare, and it never disappointed me.

Even now, as a spinster, the thought of cooking noodles at my laziest days still excites me.

But there is one thing we forget to do, almost always. We are most times too hungry and ready to eat that we forget that noodles can still be nutritious even though it’s classified as junk when prepared conventionally.

Well, you don’t need a cookbook to prepare fast and yet nutritious noodles. All you need is a cooker, onions, some eggs (or protein of choice), and vegetables (if you want).
You will prepare mouth-watering noodles within 5 minutes and still be on time to meet your hungry stomach’s demands.

TWO NOODLE SACHETS

Serving: 2 servings

Prep time: 1 minute

Cook time: 4 minutes

Total time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of water
  • One medium-sized onion bulb
  • Protein of choice – eggs, meat, or fish
  • Other vegetables – carrot, green beans, peppers…
  • Noodle seasoning

Instructions:

1. In a small pot, add 1 cup of water, finely cut medium-sized onion bulb, protein, other vegetables of choice, and the noodle seasoning. Allow cooking under high heat for 1 minute.
2. Pour the noodles into the pot and let cook on high heat for 3 minutes.

And voila, your tasty noodles are ready, *slurps*
